Systems Engineer – Electronic Warfare (Emirati Talent)

About the role

As an EW System Engineer at EDGE you will define, integrate, and verify electronic warfare capabilities by translating mission needs into system requirements, architectures, signal‑processing functions, and operational performance across the full system lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer operational requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Define system architecture and subdivide high‑level requirements into functional, performance, mechanical and interface specifications.
• Draft technical project documentation and manage integration, validation and qualification activities.
• Conduct final verification and testing with the customer, including platform installation and operational test support.
• Oversee project and planning management, ensuring resources, timelines and costs are controlled.

Required profile

• Graduates, PhD students or PhDs in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science or related fields.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally on a frequent basis.
• Good command of the English language.
• Desirable: Master’s degree in electronic engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science or telecommunications.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Radar, Electronic Warfare and Antenna concepts.
• Digital Signal Processing and RF microwave expertise.
• Design, integration and validation of EW and Radar electronic systems.
• Modeling and algorithm development using MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent tools.
• Project management abilities related to resources, schedule and cost.
