Tagalog Speaking Commis 2 for Western Restaurants

About the role

The client is a well‑established restaurant group in Dubai seeking a Tagalog‑speaking Commis II to support new Western‑style outlets. Reporting to the Executive Chef via the Sous Chef, the role involves preparing, cooking and serving dishes while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation under the Executive Chef’s guidance.
• Prepare, cook and serve assigned dishes, ensuring quality and adherence to recipes.
• Monitor stock movement, order supplies for your section and assist with inventory control.
• Carry out daily procedures such as temperature checks, food labeling, dating and storage.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, safety standards and report any hazards.

Required profile

• At least 1 year professional culinary experience, preferably as Commis II/III in a fine‑dining setting.
• Ability to work under pressure in a hot kitchen and long hours.
• Fluent English communication skills; Tagalog speaking preferred.
• Culinary certificate from a recognized institution is desirable.
