Technical Consultant - Electrophysiology Therapies

About the role

Medtronic is looking for a Technical Consultant for its Electrophysiology Therapies (cardiac rhythm management and cardiac ablation solutions) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role supports customers across the assigned territory, working with electrophysiologists, physicians, catheterization laboratories and hospital teams to provide clinical and technical expertise and improve patient outcomes. Regular travel within the territory is required, including onsite support during electrophysiology procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support during cardiac device implantation and electrophysiology procedures.
• Deliver real-time case support and troubleshooting in cath-labs and electrophysiology suites.
• Conduct product training and educational programs for physicians, nurses, technicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Support the introduction and adoption of new technologies and therapies across assigned accounts.
• Support clinical evaluations, workshops, scientific meetings and educational activities.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to develop account strategies and identify growth opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and healthcare stakeholders.
• Support inventory management, consignment reviews and field corrective actions when required.
• Ensure compliance with Medtronic policies, quality standards and local regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, nursing, clinical sciences, medical technology or a related healthcare field.
• At least 6 years of experience in the medical device industry, cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac rhythm management or cath lab environments.
• Strong clinical and technical aptitude, excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Professional level English, written and spoken.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience delivering customer training and education programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Salesforce/SFDC.
