Consultant Cardiologist

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is hiring a full-time Consultant Cardiologist to join its medical team. The consultant diagnoses, treats and manages a wide range of cardiovascular conditions and provides advanced cardiac care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage cardiovascular diseases such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias and hypertension
• Perform and interpret ECG, echocardiography, stress testing and Holter monitoring
• Develop individualized treatment plans and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions
• Provide specialized consultations for complex cases and collaborate with cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams
• Educate patients on cardiac health, preventive care and lifestyle changes
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, hospital policies and international clinical standards, and keep accurate patient records
• Take part in clinical audits, quality improvement programmes and continuing medical education

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent recognized medical qualification
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiology (DM, CCT, American Board or equivalent)
• Valid DHA license or eligibility letter preferred
• Post-specialization clinical experience meeting UAE PQR requirements for Consultant classification

Required skills

• Cardiovascular diagnostics, cardiac imaging and management of complex cardiac conditions
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, leadership and teamwork skills
