Technical Lead - Full Stack Engineering

About the role

A Technical Lead position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on site. The role oversees the technical direction of the engineering team, guides delivery across multiple workstreams and mentors developers to deliver high-quality, scalable full-stack solutions. It calls for at least 5 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Define and align on technical direction and architecture for active projects within the first 6-12 months, and drive architecture decisions and coding standards.
• Mentor and develop engineers, promote code quality and ensure robust, scalable and maintainable applications.
• Lead estimation, planning, release coordination and risk identification so delivery stays on track.
• Work with product, stakeholders and cross-functional teams to balance delivery with architectural integrity and performance requirements.
• Make sure development practices support scalability, maintainability, testing readiness and production issue resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of software development and leadership experience.
• Strong ownership mindset with proactive communication and a problem-solving approach focused on quality and detail.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Transparent, approachable leadership style and ability to mentor others.
• Comfortable balancing delivery velocity with technical direction and architecture.

Required skills

• Preferred: backend with .NET / ASP.NET Core and frontend with React.
• Preferred: Docker, CI/CD pipelines and tooling, and cloud awareness (provider-agnostic).
• Preferred: cybersecurity awareness and secure development practices.
