Technical Project Manager – Customer Ground Segment

About the role

The Technical Project Manager will bridge technical architecture, product development, and program execution to deliver Orbitworks' Customer Ground Segment and mission solutions. Working with Customer Solutions, Space Infrastructure, Business Development, and Loft teams, you will translate high‑level system designs into concrete execution plans and ensure seamless coordination across internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Convert customer ground‑segment architecture into detailed project plans with defined work packages, owners, milestones, and dependencies.
• Break down mission requirements into deployable technical deliverables across Orbitworks and Loft infrastructure.
• Drive cross‑functional execution, tracking deliverables, risks, and milestones while removing blockers.
• Coordinate onboarding of new missions, translating SLAs into implementation plans and overseeing deployment activities.
• Partner with product teams to align releases with customer needs and validate technical feasibility for business commitments.
• Champion best‑practice project tracking using Jira and Confluence, and lead continuous process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of technical program or project management experience in software‑intensive or complex technical environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional technical programs from planning through deployment.
• Strong organizational, stakeholder‑management and executive‑level communication skills.
• Willingness to travel quarterly for cross‑office collaboration.
