Technical Recruiter – Southern Middle East

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Technical Recruiter to lead talent acquisition for the oil and gas sector across the Southern Middle East region. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will work closely with product line managers and regional offices to secure the best technical talent.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product line managers to understand workforce needs, project timelines and role specifications, and source candidates via job boards, industry networks, LinkedIn and referrals.
• Build and maintain a continuous talent pipeline to meet current and future hiring demands across the Southern Middle East.
• Conduct initial HR screenings, verify qualifications, collect documentation and assess technical competencies.
• Prepare and issue offers, ensure timely acceptance, and manage pre‑ and post‑onboarding documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date talent data in the Recruitment HRIS for accurate regional reporting.
• Gather employment documentation, ensure compliance with internal policies and UAE employment laws, and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Mechanical Engineering).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive recruitment experience, with a focus on technical talent in the Oil & Gas or Energy sectors.
• Proven ability to source inspection‑related candidates across the Middle East.
• Experience handling bulk recruitment for inspection positions.
