Technical & Warranty Manager

About the role

Al Futtaim Automotive is building a strong talent pool for future opportunities across the UAE. The Technical & Warranty Manager will lead technical support, warranty governance and repair quality across the Aftersales network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical support and case management across the Aftersales network, handling complex diagnostics and repairs.
• Oversee warranty operations, ensuring claims compliance, monitoring rejected/ageing claims and driving corrective actions.
• Improve repair quality and Fix It Right performance by analysing repeat repairs and technical trends.
• Coordinate with OEM technical and warranty teams on product‑quality and warranty issues.
• Monitor technical and warranty KPIs, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support technical readiness for new vehicle models and technologies.
• Lead and develop the Technical and Warranty team, collaborating with Service Operations, Workshop, Parts, Training, Finance and other functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years automotive Aftersales experience, with at least 3 years in a technical, diagnostic, warranty or technical operations leadership role.
• Experience in an automotive distributor, OEM or dealer environment, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong technical judgment, problem‑solving ability and stakeholder management skills.
• UAE driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Automotive diagnostic and root‑cause analysis.
• In‑depth knowledge of automotive warranty policies, claims processes and governance.
• Repair quality and Fix It Right management.
• KPI analysis and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of modern vehicle technologies, including electrical/electronic systems; EV and high‑voltage knowledge is an advantage.
