Technician – Amusement & Arcade Operations

About the role

As a Technician you will be responsible for executing a range of operations and maintenance tasks on amusement and arcade assets. The role ensures safety, reliability and optimal performance of entertainment equipment across our sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of arcade machines, rides and facility systems to verify proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical assets to minimise downtime and extend asset life.
• Troubleshoot and carry out corrective and emergency repairs on amusement equipment and supporting systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, spare‑parts usage and repair activities.
• Respond promptly to technical faults during operating hours to minimise guest disruption.
• Collaborate with operations and guest‑services teams to maximise equipment uptime and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in operations and maintenance, preferably within the leisure or family‑entertainment sector.
• Familiarity with arcade machines, amusement rides, simulators or VR setups.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) guidelines.
