Technology Operations Engineer - Digital Payments/Fintech

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technology Operations Engineer specializing in digital payments and FinTech solutions. You will ensure the availability, reliability, security and performance of our payment platforms while following ITSM best‑practice standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain digital payment, wallet and FinTech platforms.
• Deploy, orchestrate, scale and troubleshoot containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Administer web services, reverse proxies, load balancers and traffic routing.
• Perform advanced Linux system administration on RHEL and SUSE servers.
• Monitor system performance, capacity and overall health, ensuring high availability and business continuity.
• Manage the full incident lifecycle (L1‑L3) and lead major incident response in line with ITIL.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, implement preventive actions and maintain SLA/KPI reporting.
• Oversee change and release management, including impact assessments, approvals and rollback planning.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, security and business teams to ensure compliant production releases.
• Maintain PCI‑DSS, ISO 27001 and other regulatory compliance for payment platforms.
• Create and update SOPs, runbooks and technical documentation, driving continual service improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in technology operations within financial services or payments.
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, APIs and digital banking technologies.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and manage incidents and major events.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder coordination.
