Telehandler Operator - Agri Logistics

About the role

DSV is hiring a Telehandler Operator for its agri-logistics business. The main purpose of the position is to operate telehandler equipment responsibly while following all safety measures during loading and offloading.

Key responsibilities

• Operate telehandler equipment responsibly, following Health, Safety and Environment department policies and procedures.
• Carry out a daily inspection of the equipment before use and report any discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.
• Stop the equipment at once if it malfunctions and report accidents immediately to the supervisor.
• Follow the supervisor's instructions while loading and offloading material, always observing HSE policies and procedures.
• Stack materials accurately so they are placed safely and properly, minimising the risk of damage.
• Report any damage found during loading or offloading to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time to meet business expectations.

Required profile

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience operating boom loader or telehandler equipment.
• A valid UAE driving licence.
• Basic communication skills and aptitude for safety.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
