Telephone Operator (Guest Services)

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Telephone Operator to join the opening team of Radisson Hotel Fujairah. In this guest‑focused position you will be the first voice that contacts experience, handling inbound calls and coordinating guest requests to ensure a memorable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming and internal telephone calls promptly, courteously and with a warm tone.
• Provide guests with accurate information about hotel facilities, services and local attractions.
• Connect callers to the appropriate department and relay guest requests.
• Record, track and follow up on guest requests to guarantee timely resolution.
• Manage wake‑up calls and other telephone‑based guest services.
• Respond to emergency calls in line with hotel procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a telephone operator or in a similar guest‑service role, preferably within a hotel.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and clear communication skills.
• Strong listening ability and a pleasant, professional manner.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Familiarity with telephone system operations.
