Tenured/Tenure-Track Psychology Professor (Open Rank)

About the role

The Division of Science at NYU Abu Dhabi seeks a tenured/tenure‑track faculty member in Psychology (Social/Social‑Developmental). The position is open rank, with a primary focus on the Assistant Professor level, and welcomes candidates across all ranks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an internationally recognized research program in social and/or developmental psychology.
• Teach undergraduate courses and mentor a diverse student body.
• Collaborate with faculty across NYU’s global campus network and contribute to interdisciplinary research initiatives.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated record or trajectory toward high‑impact research and a commitment to excellence in teaching.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, interdisciplinary environment.

Required skills

• Experience with neuroimaging techniques (e.g., Siemens Prisma 3T MRI, MEG systems).
• Proficiency in EEG, eye‑tracking, virtual reality, and physiological measurement tools.
• Familiarity with high‑performance computing resources.
