Thought Leadership and Market Intelligence Lead – Luxury

About the role

CXG is seeking a senior professional to lead its Thought Leadership and Market Intelligence functions for the luxury sector. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will shape CXG’s point of view, turn proprietary data into influential content, and keep the company ahead of emerging trends across luxury retail, beauty, watches, automotive and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a thought‑leadership strategy, selecting priority themes, audiences and formats, and maintaining a realistic publication calendar.
• Research, analyse, write and edit original articles, perspectives and other content, ensuring each piece presents a distinct CXG angle.
• Collaborate with Practices, Regions and Solutions to capture market signals, develop CXG’s point of view and disseminate content through marketing channels.
• Manage and develop a Market Intelligence team member, setting priorities and reviewing output quality.
• Produce the weekly “This Week in Luxury” brief and occasional flash updates on significant market events.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience creating thought‑leadership or insight‑driven content in consulting, research, customer experience, retail or luxury environments.
• Outstanding English writing and editing abilities with a portfolio of original, evidence‑based publications.
• Strong research and analytical skills, capable of turning data and market signals into clear, credible arguments.
• Deep knowledge of luxury, retail and customer‑experience trends and a curiosity about their evolution across markets.
• Experience managing or coaching at least one team member and comfort working independently in a remote setting.
