Tool Crib Coordinator – Aircraft Maintenance

About the role

The Tool Crib Coordinator supports the AMC Tool Store Department by managing both physical and digital control of aircraft tooling in line with GCAA, EASA and flydubai standards. You will ensure tools are issued, received and tracked accurately while maintaining a safe, organised store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and receive AMC aircraft tooling to authorised personnel following company tool‑control procedures.
• Maintain full accountability using shadow boards, toolboxes, vending systems, RFID/barcode technology and digital management systems.
• Perform inventory checks at shift changes, work‑package completion and as required.
• Report and investigate missing tools immediately.
• Record all tool transactions in the digital tool management system.
• Organise storage locations for tooling, calibrated equipment and consumables.
• Inspect returned tools for damage, wear or cleanliness and quarantine unserviceable items.
• Monitor calibration due dates, coordinate calibration with approved providers and keep accurate records.
• Adhere to flydubai’s Safety Management System and comply with GCAA/EASA regulations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma.
• Fluent in English.
• 2‑4 years of experience in tool control or similar logistics role.
• UAE Driving Licence.
• Awareness of aviation industry practices.
