Training and Quality Assistant Manager

About the role

The Training and Quality Assistant Manager leads, plans and coordinates corporate and hotel training programmes in line with Hilton and Waldorf Astoria standards. This role ensures that all team members receive the necessary orientation, compliance and service‑excellence training to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan, coordinate and facilitate hotel training programmes covering diversity, inclusion, leadership, service excellence and more.
• Assess hotel‑wide and departmental training needs using performance trends, guest feedback, quality audits and consultations with leaders.
• Develop, source and recommend targeted training solutions to support team development and business objectives.
• Maintain and update training materials, programmes and resources to align with Hilton standards and operational best practices.
• Oversee departmental training such as Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness, conducting audits to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate training records, track mandatory training completion and generate monthly/quarterly activity reports.
• Partner with department managers to review performance trends, identify development opportunities and recognise achievements.
• Drive continuous improvement through quality audits, SOP reviews, guest feedback analysis and compliance monitoring.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of training needs analysis methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Experience designing, developing, implementing and evaluating training programmes in a luxury hotel environment.
• Understanding of luxury hotel operations, service standards and, preferably, Forbes Travel Guide requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to present to all management levels.
• Strong observational, analytical and organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
