Training Manager – Beverage (Luxury Resort)

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a senior Training Manager for its Beverage Academy. The role will shape the learning strategy for a luxury resort that will open in 2027, ensuring world‑class beverage service across all food & beverage outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the vision, mission and strategy for the Beverage Academy in line with Wynn’s luxury service philosophy.
• Lead a diverse team of trainers and beverage professionals to deliver comprehensive programs covering wines, spirits, cocktails, beer, coffee, tea and responsible alcohol service.
• Integrate Forbes Travel Guide standards into all curricula and partner with HR to embed training into career paths.
• Continuously update content to reflect global beverage trends, product knowledge and Wynn’s evolving standards.
• Monitor performance metrics, manage the training budget, and track ROI through improved sales, guest satisfaction and service consistency.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of progressive beverage leadership experience in luxury hotels, resorts or high‑end restaurants.
• Experience supporting Forbes Travel Guide audits or equivalent luxury hospitality benchmarking.
• Proven expertise in wines, spirits, cocktails, coffee, tea and luxury beverage service standards.
• Strong background in designing training programmes, talent development and coaching multicultural teams.
• Professional beverage certifications (e.g., sommelier, mixology) are preferred.
