Travel and Assistance Officer (Replacement)

About the role

Nextcare is seeking a proactive Travel and Assistance Officer to temporarily cover its medical assistance operations in the United Arab Emirates. You will act as the main point of contact for claims, coordinate with providers, and ensure high‑quality service for customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned medical assistance cases and evaluate claims according to company guidelines.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to guarantee service quality during travel assistance.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails, ensuring call‑quality monitoring.
• Process claims: verify policy eligibility, create claims in the system, follow up, and meet turnaround‑time targets.
• Assist callers with claim procedures, network inquiries, and policy terms.
• Support Business Units, Travel, and TPA International requests, including opening international files and placing Guarantees of Payment.
• Log complaints, manage escalations, and record resolutions in the designated tools.
• Maintain system tasks such as file creation, service‑provider updates, and productivity tracking.
• Monitor daily activities against SLA, generate reports, and participate in training and internal meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a medical‑related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in insurance, travel, or medical assistance operations.
• Fluent English (mandatory); Arabic and French are a plus.
• Excellent typing skills and legal permission to work in the UAE.
• Physically fit to perform job duties.
