Travel Operations Assistant

About the role

LIGER Tourism & Consulting is looking for a Travel Operations Assistant to support daily travel administration and operational coordination. This is a full-time, office-based position involving travel arrangements, itineraries, coordination with hotels and transport providers, booking records and communication with clients and travel partners. The salary is AED 3,800-4,500 per month depending on experience and qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Organize travel itineraries, tour schedules and travel arrangements
• Coordinate accommodation, transportation, airport transfers and activity bookings
• Confirm arrangements with hotels, transport providers and other suppliers
• Maintain booking records, customer information and travel documentation
• Prepare quotations, booking confirmations and itinerary documents
• Follow up on reservation requests, booking changes and outstanding confirmations
• Support group tours, corporate travel and customized travel programs
• Handle routine customer inquiries and prepare administrative reports
• Support general office administration and daily travel operations

Required profile

• Previous experience in travel administration, tourism operations, reservations, customer service or a related role is preferred
• Diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience may be considered
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication
• Customer service and problem-solving abilities, and ability to work with colleagues, clients and suppliers

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and standard office applications
• Scheduling, booking management and follow-up on pending requests
• Familiarity with travel booking systems, hotel reservations or travel management platforms is an advantage
