Urgent Care Registered Nurse

About the role

Reem Hospital on Reem Island in Abu Dhabi is looking for compassionate Urgent Care Registered Nurses to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries in a fast‑paced urgent‑care setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, triage and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Provide nursing care for a wide range of acute illnesses, minor injuries and urgent medical conditions.
• Monitor, document and respond to patient conditions and treatment responses.
• Administer medications, treatments and procedures according to physician orders and hospital policies.
• Assist physicians during examinations, procedures and emergency interventions.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication use and follow‑up care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection‑control and safety standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Required profile

• Valid DOH Nursing License or eligibility to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Department or Acute Care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, triage and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
