Vascular Ultrasound Sonographer

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is seeking an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Sonographer to join its Dubai team. The role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations of arteries and veins, supporting vascular surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including carotid studies and post‑procedure or graft surveillance.
• Utilise Doppler techniques to evaluate blood flow and vascular conditions.
• Capture clear, technically accurate images and prepare findings for clinical review.
• Coordinate with vascular surgeons and the wider care team for patient assessment and follow‑up.
• Explain examinations to patients, ensure comfort, and maintain a patient‑focused experience.
• Check ultrasound equipment and adhere to quality, safety, and infection‑control procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Imaging or related discipline.
• Recognised professional certification in sonography.
• Practical experience performing vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Valid DHA licence as a Sonographer.
• Strong knowledge of vascular imaging, Doppler studies, and arterial and venous assessment.
