Vendor Registration Specialist

About the role

A trading company based in Abu Dhabi is looking for a meticulous and organized Vendor Registration Specialist to register the company as a supplier on various government portals. The role covers supplier prequalification, qualification, evaluation and registration of new and existing suppliers, with attention to compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full vendor registration process on government procurement portals such as SAP, ADNOC and DEWA, and submit the required documentation, certifications and licenses.
• Gather, organize and maintain documents such as tax compliance certificates, financial reports, legal licenses and business credentials, and keep certifications (minority-owned, small business, ISO, etc.) current.
• Track compliance with government requirements and deadlines, including annual renewals and audit reports.
• Monitor portals for tenders, RFQs and RFPs, and work with the procurement and bidding teams to keep bid documentation up to date.
• Help respond to prequalification documents and vendor registration inquiries from government agencies.
• Liaise with government officials and procurement administrators, and report progress and risks to management.
• Maintain records of registrations and prepare reports for internal stakeholders, and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 5 years of experience registering vendors on government procurement portals.
• Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, regulations and requirements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Experience with government registration portals such as SAP, ADNOC, DEWA, eProcurement and eTendering systems.
• Knowledge of compliance documentation, certifications and licenses needed for government contracting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and vendor management systems.
