Veterinarian – Clinical & Surgical Role

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinarian to join Al Nahiya Group’s modern veterinary facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves providing high‑quality medical and surgical care to a variety of animals in a patient‑centred environment that values teamwork and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat animals through medical, surgical and emergency procedures, including anaesthesia.
• Conduct clinical examinations, interpret diagnostics, imaging and laboratory samples.
• Implement disease‑prevention programs, vaccinations, parasite control and bio‑security measures.
• Respond to emergencies and manage infectious or notifiable diseases.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
• Support and train veterinary and animal‑care staff.
• Contribute to a collaborative, high‑performance team culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant veterinary experience.
• Experience with national bio‑security frameworks, veterinary inspection and sanitary controls.
• Proven clinical, medical and surgical competence.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to high standards of animal welfare and professional practice.
