Vice President & Head of Audit – Information Security

About the role

The Vice President & Head of Audit – Information Security will act as the subject‑matter expert for planning and executing audits across the Group Security Office, Business Continuity Management, Data domains and System Integration projects both locally and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audits of Information Security, Business Continuity Management, Data Governance, Data Privacy, Data Analytics & AI and System Integration across FAB Group and its subsidiaries worldwide.
• Ensure audit programmes are executed on schedule, report findings promptly and negotiate management action plans.
• Provide guidance and on‑the‑job training to junior auditors and promote a value‑driven culture.
• Monitor financial performance of audit activities against budgets and report variances.
• Maintain the audit universe, risk assessments and audit programs in the central audit management tool.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of information security, IT, BCM, data governance, privacy and regulatory environments in the UAE and other jurisdictions.
• Proven experience in leading large‑scale audit engagements and managing cross‑functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with senior business leaders.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of audit standards, risk assessment methodologies and internal control frameworks.
• Experience with data analytics and automated testing techniques in audit.
