Vice President – Investments (Healthcare Sector)

About the role

An established private‑equity firm focused on healthcare across the GCC is seeking a Vice President of Investments to drive its acquisition and value‑creation strategy for hospitals, clinics and other healthcare service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the assessment of investment opportunities and support informed business decisions.
• Review financial information and market factors to identify relevant investment considerations.
• Develop investment proposals with clear financial analysis and recommendations.
• Monitor investment activity and provide timely updates on performance and key developments.
• Work with stakeholders to align investment activity with organisational priorities.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior decision‑makers.
• Maintain accurate records of investment assessments, decisions and outcomes.
• Identify financial trends that may affect investment planning within the healthcare sector.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience in private equity, principal investments, investment management or a buy‑side environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or related field; MBA, CFA or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrable experience investing in and managing healthcare assets such as hospitals, clinics or healthcare services businesses.
• Strong track record of executing acquisitions and managing investments across the GCC, with broader MENA experience advantageous.
• Proven portfolio‑management and value‑creation experience within operating businesses.
• Native or fluent Arabic speaker with excellent English communication skills.
• Strong commercial judgement, stakeholder‑management and relationship‑building abilities.
