Vice President - IT Business Partnering

About the role

The Vice President – IT Business Partnering leads the digital and technology agenda for Al Ghurair Foods & Resources. As a member of the Group Digital and Technology leadership team, you will shape the technology portfolio, guide IT Centres of Excellence and ensure the business receives measurable value from technology investments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategic IT roadmap, aligning application development and digital transformation initiatives with business objectives.
• Oversee the delivery of platform and solution architecture, manage RFP processes, and ensure successful rollout of new software applications across the business unit.
• Lead operational excellence by monitoring project governance, risk management, budgeting and stakeholder communication in line with PMO standards.
• Partner with senior business leaders to evaluate emerging technologies, conduct proof‑of‑concepts and champion adoption across the organization.
• Manage and develop internal and external teams, resolve conflicts, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and agile delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field; PMP certification is advantageous.
• Minimum 8 years of experience delivering technology solutions, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role within a multi‑industry environment.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale digital transformation and IT portfolio initiatives.
• Strong collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills at senior executive level.
