Vice President PR and Communications

About the role

A premier financial hub and business ecosystem based in Dubai is hiring a Vice President of PR and Communications. The client brings together international financial institutions, innovators and enterprise leaders, and shapes industry narratives across emerging markets and global financial capitals. The Vice President leads and oversees the entire corporate communications function, working alongside senior leadership and executive teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal and external communications strategies aligned with business and destination objectives
• Oversee day-to-day operations of external PR, internal employee communications, social media and content creation
• Build messaging architectures, content mixes and spokespeople matrices for senior executives
• Drive thought leadership initiatives such as op-eds, feature stories, white papers, speeches and commentaries
• Establish media relations with leading local, regional and international publications
• Mentor and direct internal communications managers, social media teams, copywriters and external agencies
• Set performance metrics and use web analytics to audit and refine campaign reach and engagement
• Ensure consistent brand voice across documentation, presentations, press releases and digital channels

Required profile

• 6 to 8 years of progressive marketing communications experience, including at least 4 years in a management role in a major organisation
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism or a related field
• Proven expertise in content creation, media outreach and strategic messaging across global and regional markets
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in Arabic preferred
• Ability to advise executive leadership, build stakeholder partnerships and lead creative teams
