Vice Principal – Rabdan Charter School (Start Jan 2027)

About the role

Aldar Education seeks an experienced Vice Principal to join Rabdan Charter School in Abu Dhabi, starting January 2027. The role supports the Principal in leading teaching, learning and school development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership and management of teaching and learning across the school.
• Develop and implement subject/area policies, costed development plans and monitor progress against the School Development Plan.
• Oversee staff performance, professional development and performance management processes.
• Manage budget allocation for subject areas and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Act as Principal in their absence and represent the school to parents, ADEK and Aldar Academies leadership.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support community partnerships and student wellbeing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or B.Sc with PGCE (Master’s degree desirable).
• Minimum six years of teaching experience with line or pastoral management experience.
• Proven middle‑leadership experience leading whole‑school initiatives that improved standards.
• Strong understanding of Emirati cultural values and commitment to the school’s ethos.
