Location Instructor

About the role

The Location Instructor trains new taxi drivers on essential map knowledge, routes and regulatory assessments, ensuring they are competent and confident on the road.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom training sessions, debriefs and assessments for map tests.
• Assist drivers in e‑learning rooms during test preparation.
• Conduct on‑bus location training using the PA system.
• Maintain and file all training documentation for audit purposes.
• Coordinate with trainees by phone for RTA campaigns and remedial sessions.
• Transport new drivers to and from the training bus at designated locations.
• Act as liaison with RTA, Emirates Driving Institute, ITC, FNDI, AJC, FTC.
• Handle driver queries at the training academy reception when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Heavy Duty Driving License (minimum requirement).
• At least 5 years of driving experience in the UAE, preferably in taxi operations.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of UAE locations and routes.
• Strong English communication skills (intermediate reading, basic writing, good speaking).
• Hindi language proficiency (required) and Urdu (desired).
