About the role

Lead the evolution of a proprietary liquidity and return modelling platform for a leading institutional investment organisation. This senior position blends quantitative modelling, software engineering, and investment analytics to support portfolio management and balance‑sheet activities.

Key responsibilities

• Own and enhance a proprietary liquidity and return modelling framework covering public and private market investments.
• Lead development of institutional‑grade analytical applications built in Python and SQL.
• Design and oversee enterprise data architecture, ETL processes, and system integrations across investment, performance, and accounting platforms.
• Deliver scalable analytics and reporting solutions for senior leadership and governing committees.
• Manage external development resources while establishing engineering standards, governance, and best practices.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of experience in sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, endowments, insurance asset managers, secondaries investors, or similar institutional investment platforms.
• Proven track record developing quantitative models for liquidity forecasting, portfolio cash flows, commitment pacing, return forecasting, or asset allocation across public and private markets.
• Advanced hands‑on programming experience in Python and SQL, capable of analysing, debugging, and enhancing production code.
• Strong knowledge of investment data architecture, database technologies, ETL frameworks, and Snowflake environments.
• Experience leading technical teams and collaborating directly with investment professionals, portfolio analytics teams, and senior stakeholders.
