VP Group Accounting & Reporting – Investment Office (Dubai)

About the role

The role is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant and timely financial reporting while maintaining a strong control environment. The VP will work closely with fund finance teams to oversee the flow of financial data into the Group's accounting platform and will have hands‑on oversight of entity‑level reporting, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing and IFRS compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Group accounting, including general ledger, cash management, reconciliations, intercompany and Accounts Payable, ensuring strong controls and process integrity.
• Lead Group consolidation and statutory reporting in compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
• Coordinate Group audits, working closely with external auditors and Tax to ensure accurate and timely reporting and filings.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data flowing from investment systems into NetSuite and act as the NetSuite power user.
• Partner with Finance, Technology and Data & AI teams to optimise data integration and implement AI applications across the finance function.
• Lead projects to strengthen financial controls, policies and procedures, focusing on cash, intercompany transactions, SPV capitalisation and transfer pricing.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACA or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge of IFRS, group consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Proven experience managing external audits within financial services, asset management or investment management.
• Highly technical and hands‑on, able to operate across detailed accounting, reconciliations and systems.
• High integrity, accountability and attention to detail with strong communication skills.
• Analytical and commercially minded, balancing technical precision with broader business objectives.
