VP Trade Finance & Treasury

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head trade finance and treasury functions for a growing international energy company based in Dubai. This strategic position will support the expansion of our business hub and ensure robust financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement trade finance strategies aligned with business operations.
• Oversee treasury activities, including cash‑flow management and forecasting.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure funding and optimise arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for trade finance and treasury.
• Analyse financial risks and propose mitigation measures, and lead negotiations for related agreements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in trade finance and treasury management within the energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities to assess financial risks.
• Background in accounting or finance with relevant certifications.
• Proven leadership and communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
