About the role

Join the team at Lion in the Sun, a premium Mediterranean‑inspired restaurant located in the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai. As a Waiter you will deliver an exceptional, personalized dining experience that reflects the brand’s luxury and exclusivity.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure.
• Serve dishes and beverages with meticulous attention to presentation and quality.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods and allergens, to answer guest inquiries and make recommendations.
• Keep the dining area clean and organized, including setting, clearing and resetting tables, polishing glassware and maintaining overall hygiene.
• Adhere to all health, safety and company policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a waiter in a high‑end restaurant or luxury hotel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for service.
• Impeccable grooming and presentation aligned with a luxury brand.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Team‑oriented attitude and ability to collaborate effectively.
