Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Service at Waldorf Astoria DIFC

About the role

Join the award‑winning Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre as a Waiter/Waitress and deliver refined, personalized dining experiences to discerning guests. You will support daily restaurant operations, anticipate guest needs, and uphold the Forbes Five‑Star service standards of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Uphold Waldorf Astoria standards of culinary excellence, refined service and immaculate presentation.
• Provide warm, anticipatory service, creating bespoke dining experiences for each guest.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of food, wine and beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods and dietary considerations.
• Apply suggestive selling techniques to guide guests through the menu and discreetly upsell.
• Accurately take orders using approved order pads and POS systems and communicate promptly with the kitchen.
• Follow up on the dining experience, resolve concerns with empathy and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe and beautifully set dining area at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in a restaurant or hotel food‑and‑beverage environment.
• Full‑time availability and ability to work onsite in Dubai.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high‑quality service.
• Good communication skills and the ability to anticipate guest preferences.
