Waitress - Lobby Lounge

About the role

Raffles Dubai invites you to join its lobby lounge in Raffles Salon as a Waitress. Working alongside colleagues and supervisors, you will help create a luxurious and professional food and beverage experience for guests, keeping them satisfied and meeting the department's goals under the guidance of the Outlet Leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Raffles and Outlet grooming, discipline and punctuality standards, and uphold LQA service standards consistently.
• Know the menu, ingredients and preparation methods, and recommend dishes confidently; know allergens and dietary requirements and follow SOPs.
• Know bar operations, including coffee, tea and cocktails, and maintain high quality in preparation and presentation.
• Support colleagues across the outlet, address guests by name, and recognize regular and VIP guests, updating Opera for in-house guests.
• Run regular guest satisfaction checks, handle feedback professionally and escalate concerns, and report complaints and incidents immediately.
• Carry out opening, closing and side duties, complete checklists, take part in monthly equipment inventories and help minimize waste and breakage.
• Work with Housekeeping, Stewarding and Engineering on cleanliness and maintenance, and keep the outlet clean and hygienic.
• Contribute to outlet targets through upselling and guest engagement, and assist other F&B outlets during peak periods.
• Complete departmental paperwork, attend training, handle cash accurately and perform any additional duties assigned by Hotel Management.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in Food & Beverage.
• Experience in 5-star luxury hospitality is preferred.
• Hospitality studies are preferable.
• Strong reading, writing and spoken English; a second foreign language is a plus.
• Positive, energetic, guest-focused personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
