Waste Collection Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Waste Collection Manager to lead solid waste collection operations across Ras Al Khaimah. The role ensures safe, efficient and compliant transport and disposal of household, industrial, medical and hazardous waste, supporting a cleaner and more sustainable community.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient collection, transport and disposal of all solid waste streams, including hazardous and medical waste.
• Supervise field teams, equipment use, maintenance and enforcement of waste disposal regulations.
• Plan, coordinate and optimise collection schedules and routes.
• Direct supervisory staff and ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Maintain fleet readiness and collaborate with the Fleet/Workshop department on fleet planning.
• Drive public awareness and community engagement programmes related to waste management.
• Develop and update operational policies, procedures and manuals.
• Monitor and report waste diversion to the Material Recovery Facility and address community concerns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering or a related field.
• 10–15 years of relevant professional experience in waste collection or related operations.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale field operations and coordinate with government agencies.
