Welder – Production & Fabrication

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our production and fabrication team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves performing welding and related fabrication tasks according to technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute welding operations using MIG, TIG, ARC/SMAW and other applicable processes.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols and specifications.
• Prepare, cut, fit, align and assemble metal components prior to welding.
• Select suitable welding methods, electrodes and consumables.
• Operate and maintain welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders and related tools.
• Inspect welds for defects such as cracks, porosity or distortion and carry out grinding, polishing and finishing as needed.
• Ensure dimensions, tolerances and alignment meet drawing requirements.
• Follow approved welding procedures, quality‑control standards and HSE policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized and hazard‑free work area.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of welding experience in fabrication, construction, manufacturing or maintenance.
• Technical or vocational qualification in welding (preferred).
• Ability to read technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety and welding hazards.
• Physically fit and able to work in various positions and environments.
