Workplace Experience Specialist - MENA

About the role

Checkout.com is looking for a highly motivated Workplace Experience Specialist to manage its offices across MENA. The role keeps the offices running smoothly and ensures colleagues' satisfaction, with a proactive approach to improving processes as the company scales. The position is based in Dubai and requires a minimum of 3 days in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Act as office ambassador and first point of contact for all workplace matters across MENA
• Manage workplace operations including space management, in-office experience, health and safety, visitors, security, maintenance, vendor management and local and global events
• Plan and run employee engagement events that build community, culture and well-being
• Keep stakeholders informed and work closely with landlords to deliver a high-quality working experience
• Drive regional change in workplace management, report on KPIs and SLAs, and manage budgets for all sites
• Manage third-party vendors, negotiate contracts and ensure legal compliance on health, safety and security
• Administer the Workplace Service Desk so that global SLAs are met

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience as a workplace or facilities management professional in a fast-paced, global start-up environment
• Proven experience managing multi-site building operations across borders
• Solid understanding of building compliance and relevant legislation
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and organisational skills

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Outlook and Google Apps
• Vendor and contract management
