AC Technician

About the role

The AC Technician will support the engineering team at Novotel and ibis hotels in Dubai, ensuring that all air‑conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration systems operate efficiently and safely for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest and department AC complaints and emergency repair requests.
• Carry out daily inspections of building services, maintain tools, and keep the work area organized.
• Update maintenance logs, complete work orders and follow safety standards.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational qualification in engineering, HVAC or refrigeration.
• At least two years of experience operating within a hotel engineering department.
• Ability to read technical manuals, equipment diagrams and follow maintenance instructions.
• Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls.

Required skills

• HVAC system installation, operation and troubleshooting.
• Refrigeration principles and maintenance.
