Account Manager – Social Media

About the role

digitalfarm is looking for an experienced Account Manager – Social Media to lead client accounts across a diverse brand portfolio. You will build strong client relationships, translate business objectives into effective social media strategies, and ensure seamless delivery of campaigns and content across platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts and maintain strong relationships.
• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with client objectives and brand goals.
• Lead campaign planning, content calendar creation, and creative briefing processes.
• Oversee delivery of content and campaigns across multiple social media platforms.
• Review and approve content to ensure accuracy, quality, and brand alignment.
• Manage client communications, presentations, status meetings, and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal creative, strategy, production, and community teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations for optimisation.
• Support new business initiatives, including proposal development and RFP responses.
• Mentor junior team members where required.

Required profile

• 4–6+ years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 2 years in an agency account‑management role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, content strategy, and digital marketing principles.
• Excellent client‑servicing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Experience interpreting social media analytics and translating insights into recommendations.
