About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our auto garage team in Dubai. The role involves managing daily financial transactions and ensuring accurate records in compliance with UAE tax regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, accounts, and ledgers.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, prepare invoices, payment vouchers and receipts.
- Perform daily accounting transactions, bank reconciliations and assist in monthly financial reporting.
- Monitor expenses, payments and outstanding balances, and support VAT calculations and returns.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers and internal departments regarding payments and accounts.
Required profile
- 2–3 years of accounting experience in Dubai or the UAE, preferably in the garage sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and basic tax compliance.
- Strong numerical, analytical and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks.
