Accountant – Full-time, On-site in Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a full-time, on-site Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The role involves handling day-to-day bookkeeping and providing financial insights to support our pet grooming business.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions, maintain ledgers and reconcile bank statements.
• Prepare invoices and track accounts receivable and payable.
• Manage payroll and ensure accurate recording of expenses and revenues.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, supporting budgeting and cash-flow planning.
• Coordinate with management to deliver financial insights and ensure compliance with accounting standards, UAE regulations and company policies.
• Assist with audits, inventory tracking and cost analysis to improve operational efficiency.
• Handle UAE VAT and tax filing.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (preferred).
• Prior experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role, ideally in the UAE.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of UAE regulations.
