Accountant – Full‑time, On‑site in Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Accountant will join Connect To World’s finance team in Abu Dhabi, handling day‑to‑day financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the company’s document clearing and education consultancy services.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and collections.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Support budgeting, cost control and financial analysis for management reporting.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or CPA is an advantage.
• Proven experience in financial accounting, preferably within professional services or consultancy.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience in general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation and cash‑flow tracking.
• Knowledge of UAE accounting standards and local financial regulations.
