Accountant – General Ledger, AP/AR & Tax

About the role

The Accountant will ensure accurate financial reporting, manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and support compliance initiatives. This role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries in line with accounting standards.
• Process and post project‑based invoices, manage accounts payable and ensure timely supplier payments.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor and customer accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, cash‑flow reports and month‑/year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare payroll, support ICV certification documentation, and assist with tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, payroll tax).
• Generate aging reports, cash‑flow forecasts and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements and periodicals.
• Strong interpersonal skills and sound business acumen.
