Accountant – Intercompany & UAE VAT Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations across multiple entities. The role focuses on intercompany reconciliations, UAE VAT compliance, and supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain intercompany reconciliation records, resolve differences and eliminate balances with subsidiaries.
• Process vendor invoices, initiate payments and manage petty cash with proper approvals.
• Prepare financial statements – balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow – and trial balances.
• Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts and related‑party balances.
• Ensure timely UAE VAT return preparation, filing and compliance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to management.
• Assist internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Experience handling multiple legal entities and intercompany accounting.
• CPA preferred; CMA is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
