About the role

Are you a detail‑oriented accounting professional who takes pride in accurate numbers and clean books? Join us as an Accountant in Abu Dhabi and help keep our financial records reliable, compliant, and up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain ledgers and prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries.
• Record and process financial transactions accurately and on time.
• Review accounts payable requests, obtain approvals, and process payments.
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank and balance‑sheet accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Investigate and correct errors in financial data to ensure reliable reporting.
• Liaise with vendors to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.
• Audit supporting documents to substantiate transactions.
• Back up financial data to keep it secure.
• Support the Senior Accountant with compliance and financial policy implementation.
• Assist with other accounting and procurement‑related activities as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance (a professional accounting qualification is an advantage).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant.
• Strong attention to detail and solid understanding of accounting principles.
