Accountant

About the role

Grandeur Trading, a hospitality trading company, is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, financial records, invoicing, inventory accounting and VAT compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily accounting transactions including sales, purchases, receipts and payments.
• Prepare sales and purchase invoices, delivery notes, credit notes and payment vouchers.
• Maintain accounts receivable and payable, follow up overdue customer payments and coordinate with sales.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, supplier and customer statements.
• Maintain inventory records, reconcile stock with the warehouse and monitor cost of goods sold.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, profit & loss statements and cash‑flow reports.
• Calculate VAT, maintain tax records and support UAE VAT return filing.
• Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience in a trading company, preferably hospitality or hotel supplies.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books or QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and basic corporate tax requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial reporting.
• Experience in inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
