About the role
Novel Fine Jewellery FZCO is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its team in JLT, Dubai. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, UAE tax compliance and AML activities within the jewellery trading environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger, process invoices, accounts payable/receivable and perform bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and support corporate tax calculations and filings.
- Assist with internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors.
- Support AML compliance, including customer due diligence, KYC documentation and transaction monitoring.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in jewellery or precious metals trading.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
- Experience with AML compliance and related documentation.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with accounting software.
