Accounting Associate - Shared Services Centre

About the role

IFZA Dubai is hiring an Accounting Associate for its Shared Services Centre (SSC). You will support the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting of IFZA customers, working with a team of professionals while following the organization's policies and procedures and performing the necessary checks and balances to deliver an effective, end-to-end customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Process transactions according to stated procedures and record them accurately and on time.
• Reconcile invoices and statements of account and investigate discrepancies.
• Post accounting journal entries using double-entry bookkeeping.
• Create and record aging reports.
• Manage customer relationships and provide daily partnering support on their financial packages.
• Implement procedure documentation aligned with internal controls and promote operational efficiency.
• Act as a competent contact for inquiries in your area and proactively identify service delivery issues.
• Support standardization and continuous improvement initiatives within the SSC and ensure continuity of daily tasks.
• Oversee the final preparation of customers' monthly financial statements and give regular progress updates to the team lead.
• Assist in ad hoc tasks supporting the business vision.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with 1-2 years of accounting experience.
• Partly or fully qualified professional accounting qualification from a recognized body preferred.
• Native, bilingual or professional Chinese speaker (mandatory).
• Detail-oriented and organized, able to work under demanding timelines.
