Accounts Payable Supervisor – Downtown Dubai

About the role

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all vendor payments and related financial records for the St. Regis Downtown Dubai. This role supports the finance team by maintaining high standards of data integrity and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
• Organise, secure and maintain files, records, cash and cash equivalents.
• Record, store and analyse financial information using journals, ledgers or computer systems.
• Classify, code and summarise numerical data to compile financial records.
• Prepare, maintain, audit and distribute financial, accounting and payroll reports.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and related reports.
• Prepare, review, reconcile and issue bills, invoices and account statements.
• Follow‑up on past‑due vendor invoices until resolved.
• Coordinate tasks with other departments and act as a role model for the team.
• Report accidents or injuries promptly and adhere to all company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
